DIY Queen Of Hearts Mask

You Will Need

Red and Black Paint
Silver Thread
White Ribbon
Black Diamenties
White Lace
Hot Glue Gun
Xyron Machine

1. Start with any blank mask, you can get these for just $2 at the Reject Shop

2. Using a grey led pencil draw a line down the centre of the mask and paint one half black, the other half red.
(don’t stress about making the line neat as we will be  placing ribbon over it later on
3. Cut your Silver Thread to  size and put them through your Xyron machine.
Then press them onto the black side of the mask at roughly a 45 degree angle.

4. Using Grey Led Pencil, start at the corner of the eye on the side painted red and draw swirls coming up and over the eye.

Glue your black sequences around the eye roughly the same length apart and follow them around on the grey led swirls.
5. Cut Your Ribbon to length, make sure it is long enough to bend over onto the back of the mask.
Put the strip through the Xyron and stick it on the mask straight down the middle to cover the meeting of the paint colours.
6. Using your Hot Glue Gun Glue the lace around your mask from the back so that only a small amount is visible from the front of the mask.

My Little Sister was going to a dress up party as Alice In Wonderlands the 'Queen of Hearts' but we couldn't find a decent mask ANYWHERE so I decided that I would make myself.
